Determinants of Intention Toward Dementia-Preventive Behaviors Among Middle-Aged Korean Adults

Summary: This study aimed to determine the influence of health belief model and fear of dementia on middle-aged Korean adults' behavioral intention to prevent dementia. General health motivation and self-efficacy were found to be significant factors affecting the behavioral intention for dementia prevention, explaining 34.2% of the variance. These key factors should be considered in future interventions to enhance adherence to dementia-preventive behaviors.
