Strategies for enhancing self-regulation in e-learning: a review of selected journal publications from 2010 to 2020

The study found that some strategies for individual stages were often ignored, while others related to students' learning achievement were frequently discussed. A robot-based digital storytelling approach to enhancing EFL learners' multimodal storytelling ability and narrative engagement

This study proposes the use of a robot-based DST approach to enhance interaction and engagement in language learning. The results of a quasi-experiment demonstrate that the robot-DST approach significantly improves students' communication apprehension, English speaking ability, storytelling ability, narrative engagement, and communication tendency. This research highlights the potential of using robots in educational settings to enhance language learning performances.

Implementing digital storytelling in statistics classrooms: Influences on aggregate reasoning

Summary: This study examines the impact of the digital storytelling approach on high school students' aggregate reasoning. Through a five-week quasi-experimental design with 50 10th-grade students, it was found that digital storytelling has a significant and positive effect on aggregate reasoning in mathematics courses. Statistical analysis reveals a significant improvement in aggregate reasoning, particularly in data analysis and result interpretation, for the students in the digital storytelling group. This study supports the use of digital storytelling as an effective instructional tool for statistics education and provides implications for course designers to enhance teaching of aggregate reasoning.
