Witnessing Bullying at Work: Inactivity and the Risk of Becoming the Next Target

Summary: This study found that actively intervening when witnessing bullying does not increase the risk of bystanders becoming new victims of bullying. In contrast, bystanders who remain inactive have a threefold risk of becoming victims of bullying.
