Gabriel L. Schwartz et al.

Summary: High rates and racial inequities in fatal police violence in the U.S. are urgent public health concerns. Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) experience varying rates of fatal police violence, with Pacific Islanders suffering rates on par with Native and Black Americans. Disaggregation of data by AAPI subgroups is necessary to address the racial/ethnic inequities in responses to fatal police violence.
