A two-stage hybrid credit risk prediction model based on XGBoost and graph-based deep neural network

Jiaming Liu et al.

Summary: In this study, a two-stage hybrid model is proposed to enhance the prediction performance of credit risk. The model utilizes feature transformation and a graph-based neural network to analyze credit data and predict credit risk. Experimental results demonstrate the robustness of the model across different economic cycles and its superior performance compared to other benchmarks.

Predicting human reliability based on probabilistic mission completion time using Bayesian Network

N. Asadayoobi et al.

Summary: This study develops a Bayesian Network model to predict the reliability and mission completion time of a worker performing a sequence of tasks. The worker's characteristics, task type, and task sequence plan are taken into account to measure the performance of each task and the overall mission. Numerical analysis shows that the worker's characteristics have an impact on their reliability and the duration of the mission.

An integrated assessment system for the carrying capacity of the water environment based on system dynamics

Guanzheng Hu et al.

Summary: The study establishes a dynamic system model with five subsystems and an overarching parent system to assess the carrying capacity of water environments. The results show that by 2025, the carrying rates for water environment and resources will decrease, while the water ecology carrying rate will remain high.

Risk prediction and early warning for air traffic controllers' unsafe acts using association rule mining and random forest

Ruihua Xu et al.

Summary: In this study, the methods of correlation analysis and nonlinear modeling were used to scientifically predict and warn air traffic controllers' unsafe acts based on previous prediction and early warning studies. The results show that the association rule mining and random forest model can effectively predict ATCers' errors and violations.

A path analysis model of individual variables predicting safety behavior and human error: The mediating effect of situation awareness

Iraj Mohammadfam et al.

Summary: This study examined the influence of variables on safety performance, with a focus on the mediating effect of situation awareness. The results showed that safety knowledge, sleepiness, and fatigue had significant effects on safety behavior and human error, while safety locus of control only mediated human error through situation awareness. Better safety knowledge and an internal safety locus of control were found to enhance situation awareness, while daily sleepiness and fatigue had detrimental effects on it. This study highlights the importance of situation awareness in influencing safe behaviors and human errors.
