Summary: The purpose of this study is to test the impact of ambidextrous leadership on employees' innovative work behavior (IWB), with knowledge sharing as a mediator and innovativeness as a project requirement as a moderator. The results reveal that ambidextrous leadership has a significant positive effect on knowledge sharing but a negative effect on IWB in the workplace. Additionally, knowledge sharing mediates the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and IWB, and innovativeness as a project requirement has a significant positive effect on knowledge sharing and IWB.

Team knowledge management: how leaders' expertise recognition influences expertise utilization

Summary: This paper extends previous research on how to harness team members' expertise by examining the effects of leader's expertise recognition on team expertise utilization and team creativity. The study found that leader's expertise recognition is positively related to team expertise utilization. Additionally, the leader's personal traits, specifically social dominance and reflectiveness, moderate the relationship. Only when the leader is less socially dominant or more reflective can they fully utilize expertise recognition and enhance team creativity through expertise utilization.

Additionally, formal knowledge-sharing routines negatively moderate the relationship between absorptive capacity and offshoring innovation performance.

The role of institutional and individual factors in knowledge hiding and team creativity

Summary: This study examines the impact of institutional and individual factors on knowledge hiding and team creativity. The findings suggest that innovativeness, affiliation, and top management support can reduce knowledge hiding behaviors among employees. However, the relationship between fairness and knowledge hiding was not supported in both samples. Among individual factors, altruism, self-efficacy, and attitude towards knowledge hiding were found to be significant. The relationship between information and communication technologies and knowledge hiding was only supported in the Indian sample. The results reveal that knowledge hiding negatively affects team creativity in both samples, and the moderating influence of reward structure is significant in the Indian sample.
