Summary: Answers to questions about immigration and ethnic minorities are closely related to respondents' profiles, experiences, interviewer characteristics, and country context. Surprisingly, the most highly educated respondents are more likely to choose not to respond. Respondents who have moderate contact with ethnic minorities and are interested in politics are least uncertain about their attitudes and most likely to report them.
