Influence of Different Types of Wastes on Mechanical and Durability Properties of Interlocking Concrete Block Paving (ICBP): A Review

Turhan Bilir et al.

Summary: This paper examines the performance and environmental impact of Interlocking Concrete Block Paving (ICBP) containing industrial and agricultural wastes, and provides recommendations for future research. The results show that up to 30% inclusion of waste can optimize the performance of ICBP. Furthermore, ICBP can reduce the environmental burden and total cost of concrete pavement.
