Effect of dry-wet ratio on sulfate transport-reaction mechanism in concrete

Kun Wang et al.

Summary: The study shows that the transportation of sulfate ions in concrete involves both chemical reactions and physical crystallization, with chemical sulfate attacks dominating the process. The concentration of sulfate ions increases with the dry-wet ratio, and a dry-wet ratio of 7:1 is found to be the most efficient for promoting sulfate ions transmission.
