Periods can hinder academic progress, especially in physically intensive courses. Improving the environment for people with periods by providing free period products in educational institution bathrooms is a practical way to reduce barriers in studying chemistry.
Periods are a practical barrier that can impact the academic progression of those who experience them, particularly in physically intensive courses such as chemistry degrees. As we work towards equality in education it is important to improve the environment for those with periods and providing easy access to free period products in bathrooms across educational institutions is a practical way to do this and reduce barriers to studying chemistry.
