Health-Related Quality of Life in Children: The Roles of Age, Gender and Interpersonal Trust

This study examined the mediating role of interpersonal trust in the relationship between age and health-related quality of life, and found a negative correlation between age and both health-related quality of life and interpersonal trust. Additionally, gender was found to moderate the mediation effect, with stronger mediation observed among boys.

Socioeconomic inequalities in children's health-related quality of life according to weight status

The mean scores of the Physical Well-Being and School Environment dimensions of HRQoL were lower among children classified with overweight/obesity compared to children with normal weight. Father's education was significantly associated with all HRQoL dimensions in children with a normal weight, but not among children with overweight/obesity.
