A new adaptive sampling algorithm for big data classification

Kheyreddine Djouzi et al.

Summary: The exponential growth of data on the web has led to the emergence of big data phenomenon, posing challenges, especially in terms of data size, to the computer science community. Traditional machine learning algorithms are inadequate for handling such large datasets, hence the need for adapting techniques or sampling approaches. This study proposes intelligent sampling techniques based on ScaSRS and SDB, which have shown significant improvement in addressing the size dimension in big data context.
