Ultrasensitive detection of small biomolecules using aptamer-based molecular recognition and nanoparticle counting

Ruiting Xu et al.

Summary: This article introduces a method for detecting small biomolecules based on molecular recognition and nanoparticle counting. By releasing nanoparticles and counting them using a micropore sensor, the concentration of target biomolecules can be measured with high sensitivity and high throughput. The experiments demonstrate that this method has a low detection limit and high reproducibility, showing great potential for the ultrasensitive detection of low abundance small biomolecules.
