Selected Biochemical Markers Change after Oral Administration of Pesticide Mixtures in Honey Bees

The results showed that the mixtures caused higher mortality and disturbances in biochemical markers, with interactions between pesticides sometimes being synergistic. Association between Pesticides in House Dust and Residential Proximity to Farmland in a Rural Region of Taiwan

Summary: Pesticide drift has been studied in many international studies, but less so in Taiwan. Research in a rural region of Taiwan found that while multiple pesticides were detected in house dust, outdoor dust had lower detection frequencies and concentrations. Work involving pesticide use was significantly associated with the presence of certain pesticides in house dust. Certain pesticides in house dust were found to be correlated with rice cultivation areas at specific buffer distances, indicating the occurrence of pesticide drift.
