Analysis of Error and Stability of Nanofluid over Horizontal Channel with Heat/Mass Transfer and Nonlinear Thermal Conductivity

N. Ameer Zeeshan et al.

Summary: The current study investigates nanofluid flow between two infinite rotating horizontal channels. The porous and stretchable lower plate is considered. The effects of physical parameters such as Hall current, thermal characteristics, heat source/sink, and chemical reaction on velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles are analyzed through graphs. The governing equations are transformed and numerically solved using the RK4 approach and shooting technique. The study reveals the influence of factors such as Schmidt number and chemical reaction factor on the concentration profile, as well as the impact of suction factor and rotation factors on the velocity profile. Furthermore, the temperature field is influenced by thermophoresis factor, Brownian motion, and thermal radiation factor.

Dynamics of lorentz force and cross-diffusion effects on ethylene glycol based hybrid nanofluid flow amidst two parallel plates with variable electrical conductivity: A multiple linear regression analysis

Gadamsetty Revathi et al.

Summary: This research investigates the effects of Dufour and Soret parameters on the properties of hybrid nanofluid flow between two parallel plates with temperature dependent electrical conductivity. The heat transport process is studied using thermal radiation parameter and Eckert number. The equations are solved using the bvp4c solver in MATLAB. Multiple linear regression is employed to explain physical parameters of interest, including Sherwood number. The main findings suggest that the velocity decreases with increasing nanoparticle volume fraction parameter and the concentration profile decreases with increasing Soret parameter. It is also observed that the fluid temperature increases with increasing Dufour number.
