Analysis of Maternal and Neonatal Complications in a Group of Patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Agnesa Preda et al.

Summary: This study analyzed maternal and neonatal complications associated with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), finding significant differences in gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, and cesarean delivery rates among GDM patients. Additionally, babies born to mothers with GDM had higher birth weights and increased risks of neonatal complications compared to babies born to mothers without GDM.
