A Coordinated Reconfiguration Strategy for Multi-Stage Resilience Enhancement in Integrated Power Distribution and Heating Networks

Ke Wang et al.

Summary: The tight coupling of power distribution system (PDS) and district heating system (DHS) calls for a coordinated strategy in enhancing the resilience of the integrated electric and heating system (IEHS) during natural disasters. The reconfiguration of PDS and DHS serves as critical tools for service restoration and countering disasters. This paper proposes a multi-stage resilience enhancement strategy that coordinates the reconfiguration of PDS and DHS, aiming to achieve efficient fault isolation and better service restoration. Extensive case studies validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed model and demonstrate the performance of coordinated reconfiguration on resilience enhancement.

Problems and Challenges in the Interactions of Design Teams of Construction Projects: A Bibliometric Study

Eduardo Galaz-Delgado et al.

Summary: This study aims to identify the main problems and challenges in the interactions of design teams in building projects, focusing on issues such as communication, collaboration, coordination, trust, and role identification. Using a mixed review method that integrates bibliometric reviews, systematic reviews, and social network analysis, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of the topic while highlighting key areas for in-depth research.

Comparing Team Interactions in Traditional and BIM-Lean Design Management

Rodrigo F. Herrera et al.

Summary: The study reveals that design teams using BIM-lean management exhibit higher levels of interactions among team members compared to traditional teams, with transparent, orderly, and standardized information flows, a collaborative, trusting, and learning environment. These interaction elements were not visible in projects that did not apply BIM-lean management. A recommendation is made for future analysis of representative projects to draw conclusive statistical inferences.
