Generalized fiducial methods for testing the homogeneity of a three-sample problem with a mixture structure

Pengcheng Ren et al.

Summary: In this paper, seven generalized fiducial methods are proposed to test the homogeneity of a three-sample model. Simulation studies show that these methods perform better than the LR test method in controlling type-I errors under small to moderate sample size, while having comparable powers in most cases.

Bayesian decision rules to classification problems

Yuqi Long et al.

Summary: This paper analysed classification rules under Bayesian decision theory, focusing on minimizing Bayes risk and the Bayes classification rule under 0-1 loss function. It extended the Bernstein-von Mises theorem to the multiple-sample case and discussed the Oracle property of Bayes classification rule. Simulations demonstrated the advantages of Bayes classification rules over traditional classifiers, especially when the number of features approaches the sample size.
