Compared hand hygiene compliance among healthcare providers before and after the COVID-19 pandemic: A rapid review and meta-analysis

Summary: This study aimed to systematically review and meta-analyze the characteristics and changes of hand hygiene compliance (HHC) among healthcare providers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings showed a significant improvement in HHC during the pandemic, with fever clinics becoming the focus of monitoring. Nurses had the highest HHC, while auxiliary workers had the lowest. There was a significant difference in HHC among different monitoring methods.
