Anterior-Apical Transvaginal Mesh (Surelift) for Advanced Urogenital Prolapse: Surgical and Functional Outcomes at 1 Year

Tsia-Shu Lo et al.

Summary: A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 83 women who underwent pelvic reconstructive surgery with a modified Surelift system, showing objective and subjective cure rates of 97.6% and 92.8% at 1 year postoperatively. Significant improvements were observed in lower urinary tract symptoms and quality of life. However, there was an increase in de novo urodynamic stress incontinence and stress urinary incontinence at 6-12 months postoperatively.
