Summary: A meta-analysis on supplementation strategies for beef cattle grazing tropical pastures in Brazil revealed that offering >1.0% BW of energy supplement during the wet season led to higher average daily gain and gain per hectare, while providing >0.5% BW of protein supplement during the dry season resulted in increased gain per area.
