Synthesis, and characterization of CuO/g-C3N4 nanocomposites for high performances supercapacitor application

Summary: In this study, CuO/g-C3N4 nanocomposites were successfully synthesized through one-step hydrothermal technique. The physicochemical properties of the prepared electrode material were investigated using various analytical techniques. The CuO/g-C3N4 nanocomposites-based electrode material exhibited a high specific capacitance of 384F/g at a current density of 2 A/g and maintained a remarkable capacitance retention of 98.02% after 5000 charge-discharge cycles at 10 A g-1.

Facile one-pot synthesis of template-free porous sulfur-doped g-C3N4/Bi2S3 nanocomposite as efficient supercapacitor electrode materials

Summary: This study presents a facile one-step template-free approach for controlling the porous morphology of sulfur-doped g-C3N4/Bi2S3, which shows promising potential as an electrode material for highly efficient supercapacitors. The bismuth nitrate acts as a temporary template, creating pores within Sg-C3N4 sheets before transforming into Bi2S3 nanoparticles. The designed device exhibits a maximum energy density of 6.2 Wh kg-1 and a corresponding power density of 455 W kg-1 at a current density of 0.8 A g-1, while maintaining 80% of its initial capacity after 3000 cycles, indicating the applicable potential of Bi2S3/Sg-C3N4-II for supercapacitor applications.

Forest-like carbon foam templated rGO/CNTs/MnO2 electrode for high-performance supercapacitor
