Seismic Behaviors of Novel Steel-Reinforced Concrete Composite Frames Prestressed with Bonding Tendons

Jing Ji et al.

Summary: This study investigated the seismic behaviors of novel steel-reinforced concrete composite frames prestressed with bonding tendons. Finite element models of the frames were established using ABAQUS software, and static analysis was conducted to explore the load-displacement curves. The influences of different parameters on the seismic behaviors were investigated. The results showed that the frames had good mechanisms of strong columns and weak beams, and the parameters such as the steel ratio of angle steel and the slenderness ratio of frame columns had significant effects on the seismic behaviors.

DOA Estimation for Transmit Beamspace MIMO Radar via Tensor Decomposition With Vandermonde Factor Matrix

Feng Xu et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the problem of tensor decomposition in two-dimensional transmit beamspace (TB) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation. A higher-order tensor model is designed to enable computationally efficient DOA estimation by exploiting the Vandermonde structure of the factor matrices and shift-invariance within different transmit subarrays. The proposed tensor model and DOA estimation algorithm are applicable for both two-dimensional and one-dimensional TB MIMO radar scenarios.

DOA and Range Estimation Using a Uniform Linear Antenna Array Without A Priori Knowledge of the Source Number

Jianzhong Li et al.

Summary: An efficient root-propagator method based on a uniform linear antenna array is proposed to estimate the directions of arrival and ranges of near-field sources without prior knowledge of the source number. By constructing propagators to achieve parameter estimation in a decoupled manner, the method shows superior performance for source localization, even without prior knowledge of the source number.

Dual Cancelled Channel STAP for Target Detection and DOA Estimation in Passive Radar

Giovanni Paolo Blasone et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a dual cancelled channel space-time adaptive processing scheme for detection and direction of arrival estimation of slowly moving targets in multichannel mobile passive radar. The proposed scheme reduces computational complexity and required training data compared to conventional full array solutions, while maintaining comparable target detection capability and DOA estimation accuracy. The scheme also exhibits enhanced robustness against adaptivity losses, operating effectively even with limited training data in highly non-homogeneous clutter scenarios.
