Associations Between Quantitative MRI Metrics and Clinical Risk Scores in Children and Young Adults With Autoimmune Liver Disease

Joseph McCrary et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the relationship between liver MRI measures and clinical risk scores in pediatric patients with autoimmune liver disease. It found that increased liver stiffness, increased cT1 interquartile range, and larger bile duct diameters were associated with higher risk scores. These findings suggest that multiparametric MRI of the liver could be a noninvasive diagnostic and prognostic tool for pediatric autoimmune liver disease.
