Waterproof conductive fiber with microcracked synergistic conductive layer for high-performance tunable wearable strain sensor

A highly sensitive and ultra-stretchable zwitterionic liquid hydrogel-based sensor as anti-freezing ionic skin

Summary: The article presents a novel zwitterionic liquid polymer hydrogel with extraordinary mechanical versatility, high transparency, and conductivity, as well as anti-freezing ability, for multifunctional sensor applications. The hydrogel demonstrates excellent conductivity and low-temperature tolerance due to the conductive zwitterionic nanochannels formed by the zwitterionic liquid and methacrylate lysine. Additionally, the hydrogel exhibits high transparency, remarkable stretchability, self-healing properties, adhesiveness to diverse substrates, and high conductivity even at low temperatures, making it a promising candidate for strain sensors and ionic skin in wearable electronic devices.

Contact Pattern Recognition of a Flexible Tactile Sensor Based on the CNN-LSTM Fusion Algorithm

Constructing Scalable Superhydrophobic Membranes for Ultrafast Water-Oil Separation

High-performance textile piezoelectric pressure sensor with novel structural hierarchy based on ZnO nanorods array for wearable application

It exhibits a low detection limit of 8.71 Pa, high output voltage up to 11.47 V, and superior mechanical stability, with a sensitivity of 0.62 V dot kPa(-1) in the pressure range of 0-2.25 kPa. The T-PEPS is capable of detecting human movements and can be scaled up for applications in wearable sensor platforms and self-powered devices.

A superhydrophobic and anti-corrosion strain sensor for robust underwater applications

Summary: This study presents a facile and fluorine-free approach to create a sensitive, robust, and superhydrophobic strain sensor through the in situ formation of microcilia on PDMS surface and a two-step swelling process. The optimized sensor performance includes sensitivity (gauge factor of 354), working range (up to 250%), and long-term stability (>10,000 cycles), with excellent resistance to mechanical abrasion, chemical corrosion, and high-speed water impact. Demonstrations in body motion perception, wireless and underwater communications, Morse code generation, and underwater jet impact highlight the potential of the sensor for broad applications in various conditions.
