Compared to other techniques, Marker Screw Minimally Invasive Transforaminal Interbody Fusion (MS-MIS TLIF) has significant differences in radiation exposure, cost effectiveness, and accuracy. The study aims to share knowledge and experience to improve MIS-TLIF for the benefit of surgeons and patients.

However, future randomized controlled trials are needed to strengthen the evidence of their efficacy in reducing radiation-related hazards, as the lack of statistical significance was noted.
