Summary: This study presents a case of a TSC patient with insulinoma. The main symptoms of the patient were palpitations, diaphoresis, and confusion, which improved after consuming sugary foods. A lesion in the pancreatic tail was detected during examination. The study emphasizes the importance of considering the possibility of insulinoma in TSC patients with new neurological symptoms and behavioral defects.

Insulinoma in tuberous sclerosis An entity not to be missed

Summary: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors are rare and often associated with tuberous sclerosis complex. This study described a case of insulinoma in a tuberous sclerosis patient, with successful surgical removal and histopathological examination. This is the eighth reported case worldwide of an insulinoma occurring in a patient with tuberous sclerosis.
