Remote COVID-19 patient monitoring system: a qualitative evaluation

Summary: This study evaluated the feasibility and acceptability of the Royal Melbourne Hospital's Home Monitoring Programme (HMP) in COVID-19 patients. The results showed that the HMP allowed timely recognition of clinical deterioration and most patients had a positive opinion of the program, finding it highly acceptable and easy to use. The importance of monitoring clinicians as an information conduit was frequently mentioned by patients.
