Knowledge Graph Quality Management: A Comprehensive Survey

Bingcong Xue et al.

Summary: As a powerful expression of human knowledge in a structural form, knowledge graph (KG) has attracted great attention and many construction and application technologies have been proposed. However, most existing large-scale knowledge graphs suffer from quality issues, such as inaccurate or outdated entries and inadequate coverage. This paper provides a systematic review of knowledge graph quality management, covering research topics on quality issues, dimensions, metrics, and management processes. Existing works are categorized based on target goals and methods to enhance understanding. The paper concludes with the discussion of key issues and future research directions for knowledge graph quality management.

INK: knowledge graph embeddings for node classification

Bram Steenwinckel et al.

Summary: This paper presents a novel technique called INK, which learns binary feature-based representations for nodes in a knowledge graph that are comprehensible to humans. By comparing the predictive performances of the node representations obtained through INK with state-of-the-art techniques, such as Graph Convolutional Networks (R-GCN) and RDF2Vec, on both benchmark datasets and a real-world use case, the predictive power of INK is demonstrated.

An Embedding-Based Approach to Rule Learning in Knowledge Graphs

Pouya Ghiasnezhad Omran et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a new approach, RLvLR, for learning rules from large knowledge graphs by using embedding in representation learning and a new sampling method; a new method, RLvLR-Stream, is developed for learning rules from streams of knowledge graphs; experimental results show that these methods perform well in both rule learning and link prediction tasks.
