Two-Qubit Steerability, Nonlocality, and Average Steered Coherence under Classical Dephasing Channels

Atta ur Rahman et al.

Summary: This study investigates the dynamics of steerability, Bell nonlocality, and average steered coherence when two qubits are prepared in a mixture of two Bell states and exposed to local transmission channels. The influence of disorders on the channels is assumed, resulting in either Markovian Ornstein-Uhlenbeck noise or non-Markovian static noise in two models: a single noisy channel or two local noisy channels. The findings show that an optimal setting of the type and number of classical channels, noise, and initial state is necessary to preserve quantum correlations.

Renormalization of steered coherence and quantum phase transitions in the alternating Ising model

Yu-Xia Xie et al.

Summary: We investigate net steered coherence in relation to mutually unbiased bases. The scaling property of this coherence is studied using the quantum renormalization group method for the ground state of two blocks of the alternating Ising model. The results reveal that different patterns in net steered coherence correspond to different phases of the model, and the susceptibility with respect to the magnetic field diverges at the critical points of quantum phase transitions. As net steered coherence exists for almost all bipartite states, it can be used as an alternative to explore quantum criticality in parameter regions without entanglement and quantum discord.

Scrutinizing joint remote state preparation under decoherence

Cookey Iyen et al.

Summary: This research investigates the impact of an open system with a squeezed generalized amplitude damping channel on the joint remote preparation quantum communication protocol using a maximally entangled two-qubit state. The results show that by varying the squeezing parameters, including the squeezing phase and amount of squeezing of the channel, the fidelity of a quantum system in contact with a non-zero temperature thermal bath can be improved.

Relationship between quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty and steered quantum coherence in a two-qubit X state

Yanliang Zhang et al.

Summary: Quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relation is an upgraded version that uses quantum correlations between measured subsystem and memory subsystem to enhance the original entropic uncertainty relation. This study analyzes the relationship between quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty (QMA-EU) and steered quantum coherence (SQC) for an arbitrary two-qubit X-state. The results show a strict anti-correlation between QMA-EU for Pauli observable set and SQC in any two-qubit X-state, as well as a connection between the sum of QMA-EU and SQC with the reduced quantum entropies of the subsystem. In dissipative environments, QMA-EU and SQC still exhibit a strict anti-correlation relationship throughout the evolution time, which differs from the connection between QMA-EU and quantum correlation measured by concurrence. Additionally, increasing coupling parameters and detuning amount in non-Markovian environments can suppress QMA-EU and improve SQC.

Protecting nonlocal quantum correlations in correlated squeezed generalized amplitude damping channel

Shuo Wang et al.

Summary: This study investigates the evolution of nonlocal quantum correlations in a correlated channel and proposes a scheme to protect these correlations. The results show that correlation and squeezing effects can prolong the survival time of quantum entanglement, Bell nonlocality, and quantum steering. Local weak measurement and quantum measurement reversal effectively recover the disappeared nonlocal quantum correlations. These findings are important for suppressing decoherence and enhancing quantum correlation.

Characterizing quantum criticality and steered coherence in the XY-Gamma chain

Zhuan Zhao et al.

Summary: In this paper, the authors demonstrate that an effective spin Hamiltonian with various types of couplings can be engineered using quantum simulators in atomic-molecular-optical laboratories, referred to as the XY-Gamma model. They analytically solve the one-dimensional short-range interacting case and establish the phase diagram. The paper provides useful insights into the underlying mechanism in quantum criticality for state-of-the-art experiments of quantum simulation.

Steered Quantum Coherence and Quantum Criticality in the XY Model with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya Interaction

Yu-Xia Xie

Summary: The study reveals critical behaviors of steered quantum coherence in the transverse field XY model with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction. It shows an inflexion point for two long-distance spins at the critical field of quantum phase transition and a divergence in derivative of SQC at QPT critical field for any two spins in the chain. SQC exhibits diverse behaviors in different phase regions, serving as signature of QPT, and remains effective in studying quantum criticality even under environmental coupling.

Summary: This study examines quantum phase transitions in the Lipkin-Meshkov-Glick model through investigating ground-state coherence and steered coherence. It is found that the scaling exponents of coherence are uniquely determined by the phase region of the model. These results provide insights into the mechanism of quantum criticality in many-body systems.
