An Integrative 3D printing method for rapid additive manufacturing of a capacitive force sensor

G. D. Liu et al.

Summary: The rapid development of three-dimensional printing technology has enabled the fabrication of electronic devices using 3D printing. However, the insulating properties of commonly used polymers restrict the applications of 3D printing. An integrative 3D printing approach has been proposed to address these limitations, allowing for the rapid manufacturing of MEMS devices with complex structures. This method has the potential to meet the emerging requirement for personalized applications of MEMS devices.

Measurement of Nonlinear Poisson's Ratio of Thermoplastic Polyurethanes under Cyclic Softening Using 2D Digital Image Correlation

Yi-Xian Xu et al.

Summary: The study investigates the nonlinear Poisson's ratio of TPU materials and finds that it exhibits significant hysteresis during cyclic tests before reaching a stable state. The research provides useful information for those using finite element methods to analyze the mechanical behavior of TPU and sheds new light on understanding the physical origin of cyclic softening.
