Optimal control of the hyperthermic thermal damage within intravascular tumoral regions

Iordana Astefanoaei et al.

Summary: This study compared the thermal damage effects of three magnetic materials under the same magnetic field parameters and developed a complex model to study the transport and mass transfer of ferrofluid in tumoral tissues. The results showed that injecting ferrofluid at multiple sites can lead to a more uniform thermal damage effect.

How size, shape and assembly of magnetic nanoparticles give rise to different hyperthermia scenarios

H. Gavilan et al.

Summary: This study investigates the heat release of MNPs in different shapes and configurations under the influence of magnetic fields. The findings demonstrate the potential of magnetic assembly in producing materials with enhanced heat properties. The interplay of factors such as size, shape, and assembly of nanoparticles highlights the complexity of the systems and their impact on heat generation.
