Dual-Emitting Carbonized Polymer Dots Synthesized at Room Temperature for Ratiometric Fluorescence Sensing of Vitamin B12

Summary: Dual-emitting carbonized polymer dots (CPDs) were successfully synthesized at room temperature using a Schiff base condensation reaction and subsequent cross-linking polymerization process, demonstrating good photostability and antioxidant capacity. A ratiometric FL nanoprobe for sensitive detection of vitamin B12 (VB12) was developed based on the dual-emitting property of CPDs, showing linear detection ranges of 0.25-100 μM with a low limit of detection of 0.14 μM.
