Optical solitons and stability analysis for the new (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation

Thilagarajah Mathanaranjan

Summary: This paper explores a new (3 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation for modeling the propagation of ultra-short optical pulses in highly-nonlinear media. Optical soliton solutions and other solutions for the model are found using the extended sinh-Gordon equation expansion method. Stability analysis shows that the model is stable and all solutions are stable and exact. Physical explanations of the obtained solutions are presented using 3D and 2D plots. The reported outcomes are useful for the empirical application of fiber optics.

Summary: This paper focuses on studying various solutions and their applications in nonlinear wave models for the extended Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. The integrability of the equation is validated using Painleve analysis and WTC-Kruskal algorithm. Different types of solutions are determined using various ansatz's functions and symbolic computation. Visualization of the solutions is performed by selecting appropriate parametric values and utilizing Mathematica 13.1.

A new implementation of a novel analytical method for finding the analytical solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional KP-BBM

Rajib Mia et al.

Summary: In this study, novel exact traveling wave solutions for the (2 + 1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (KP-BBM) equation are found through a comprehensive analytical study. Using the recently developed (+PRIME;) -expansion technique, new analytical solutions expressed as trigonometric and exponential functions are obtained. These exact wave solutions are advanced and unique compared to previous literature, and contour simulations, 2D and 3D graphical representations show that the solutions obtained are periodic and solitary wave solutions.

The Sharma-Tasso-Olver-Burgers equation: its conservation laws and kink solitons

K. Hosseini et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the Sharma-Tasso-Olver-Burgers equation (STOBE) and its conservation laws and kink solitons. The formal Lagrangian, Lie symmetries, and adjoint equations are constructed to determine the conservation laws of STOBE. Kink solitons are extracted using newly designed approaches, and the dynamical features of the solitons are revealed through formal graphs in 2D and 3D postures.

Geometrical study and solutions for family of burgers-like equation with fractional order space time

Emad A-B Abdel-Salam et al.

Summary: This paper presents a systematic formulation of a new family of Burgers-like equations with fractional space-time order, constructing exact solutions using the direct method. A geometrical study for the fractional space is applied to the obtained solutions, revealing that the arbitrariness of fraction orders makes systems even richer.

New optical solitons and modulation instability analysis of generalized coupled nonlinear Schrodinger-KdV system

Thilagarajah Mathanaranjan

Summary: In this study, the generalized coupled nonlinear Schrodinger-KdV (NLS-KdV) system was investigated to find new optical soliton solutions. Various types of soliton solutions were obtained using the extended sinh-Gordon equation expansion method and the solitary wave ansatz method. The modulation instability analysis was also presented. The behaviors of the obtained solutions were expressed using 3D graphs.

New generalised cubic-quintic-septic NLSE and its optical solitons

Emad Az-Zo'bi et al.

Summary: The current study presents a new generalisation of highly dispersive nonlinear Schrodinger-type equation with perturbation terms, including eighth-order dispersion term. The RSEM and MSEM methods are successfully utilised to process the fractional version of the considered NLSE, resulting in a diverse collection of optical solitons with graphical interpretations showing their properties. These schemes provide an influential mathematical tool for processing nonlinear fractional evolution equations.

Summary: In this paper, the interaction of rational, hyperbolic, and exponential functions for the (3+1)-dimensional B-type Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Boussinesq equation is discussed using Hirota's bilinear method, leading to the discovery of several families of lump-type solutions. This approach serves as a powerful mathematical tool for deriving abundant lump solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations, with dynamic properties illustrated through plotted figures with specified parameters.
