Does digital transformation enhance a firm's performance? Evidence from China

The results show that digital transformation enhances a firm's performance, leading to lower costs, better operating efficiency, and improved innovation success. Additionally, it is found that digital transformation is most helpful for firms in the mature stage of their product life cycle.
