Summary: In previous research, buyback and revenue sharing contracts were considered to be equivalent in terms of profit and coordination ability. However, considering the opportunity cost of working capital, the parameters, coordination nature, and relative performance of the two contracts may vary. This study investigates this phenomenon in two scenarios, revealing the relative financing effect between the contracts and clarifying how managers should use supply chain contracts when considering the opportunity cost of capital.

Summary: This study develops generalized game theoretic analytical models to investigate decision-making paradigms within a supply chain involving a manufacturer, a supplier, and a retailer. The models consider both collaboration and leadership-based approaches and focus on pricing and profitability as key economic dimensions. Additionally, the study integrates uncertainties related to customer demand and examines the effects of green technology investments and carbon emission sensitivity on economic objectives.

Summary: China established a green electricity trading market in 2021. A study was conducted to investigate Chinese households' intention to participate in green electricity tariff and their acceptable maximum premium, and to evaluate the potential carbon emission reduction. The survey found that 82% of Chinese households support extra willingness-to-pay for green electricity. The mean willingness-to-pay values were evaluated at RMB14.6, with a gender difference where men prefer to pay more than women. Household intention of using green energy significantly impacts their participation in extra willingness-to-pay, while income does not show a significant effect.

Summary: The carbon emissions from China's power industry are the highest among all sectors. It is crucial to explore a development path for the power industry to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. Renewable portfolio standards (RPS) and carbon tax policy are effective policy instruments for promoting low-carbon transition in the power industry. This study analyzes the impact of multiple policies in electricity markets using an electricity market equilibrium model and a system dynamics (SD) model. The results highlight the negative impact of increasing quota ratio and carbon tax price on thermal power generation, the significance of emission reduction intensity on carbon emissions reduction effectiveness, and the market inefficiency caused by profit maximization strategies adopted by green power firms under multiple policies.

Summary: Carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) is the most promising emission reduction technology in China for achieving carbon neutrality. However, the industrialization of CCUS faces challenges such as high cost and public acceptance, with the lack of a mature business model and incentive policies being the main factor hindering its deployment. This research compares and analyzes two different CCUS business models using the system dynamics method, evaluating their economic feasibility, technical feasibility, and emission reduction benefits. The results show that the vertical integration model is the most potential CCUS business model in China, with different incentive policies leading to different changes in the CCUS system. Based on these findings, suggestions such as differentiated power generation quota subsidy policies and the development of carbon emission trading market are proposed.

Summary: The effectiveness of different environmental regulation policies, specifically carbon tax and carbon emission trading, in China and two economic regions were explored using a multi-regional environmental dynamic computable general equilibrium model. Results indicate that carbon emission trading is more effective for economic development due to lower economic costs, while carbon tax is more effective for emission reductions. Furthermore, the environmental regulation has a more significant impact on the energy industry, heavy industry, and transport service industry.

Summary: This study considers different carbon emission policies to optimize container shipping and analyzes the underlying reasons for emission-reduction decisions. Both carbon emission policies will reduce profits, average shipping speed, and carbon emissions. The carbon tax model affects shipping companies' profits the most, while carbon cap-and-trade is easier to gain support from enterprises. Sensitivity analysis shows the implementation of carbon cap-and-trade or a carbon tax policy is closely related to carbon trading price, carbon tax rate, fuel price, and ship size, and there is uncertainty.

Summary: This study examines how the use of blockchain technology can deter the entry of less sustainable products in cross-border supply chains. The findings show that mandatory blockchain adoption can block entry and give the incumbent a monopoly position if the adoption cost exceeds a threshold. When the adoption cost is in an intermediate range, both the use of blockchain technology and price distortion by the incumbent are needed for deterrence. However, if the adoption cost is sufficiently low, the incumbent must compete with the entrant as blockchain technology becomes ineffective for deterrence. Additionally, the study finds that government intervention through tariffs or subsidies can enhance the value of adopting blockchain technology to prevent the entry of less sustainable products.

Summary: This paper discusses a class of two-stage hierarchical games with multiple leaders and followers, known as Nash-Stackelberg-Nash (N-S-N) games, under decision-dependent uncertainties (DDUs). By formulating the N-S-N games with DDUs and establishing a rigorous definition for the equilibrium of the game, the existence of the equilibrium of N-S-N games under DDUs is proved using Kakutani's fixed-point theorem. An illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the impact of DDUs on the equilibrium of N-S-N games.

Summary: This study investigates the cooperative relationship between regions dominated by traditional thermal power and renewable energy sources in China to achieve early carbon peak and carbon neutrality. A game model and simulation platform are used to explore the influences of different cooperative strategies. The results suggest that sharing environmental revenues rather than cooperative costs is a favorable strategy for achieving cooperation. The study provides valuable insights for the Chinese government to improve its renewable energy policy and suggests including cross-regional energy cooperation in the policy framework.

Summary: The market-oriented transaction of distributed energy resources is crucial for addressing local energy consumption issues. However, China's market for distributed power transactions is still in its early stages, lacking effective mechanisms to regulate users' credit behaviors. This study proposes a blockchain-based distributed power transaction mechanism that considers credit management. The mechanism's framework and processes are designed to comprehensively manage users' credit behaviors, including market access, bidding mechanisms, and trading settlement. The effectiveness of this mechanism is demonstrated through simulation results.

Summary: While blockchain technology has been applied in many industries, successful blockchain projects in Europe's energy systems are few. Through reviewing recent energy literature, analyzing industry reports, and interviewing experts, we find that the challenges in technology, organization, and regulation outweigh the expected benefits. Peer-to-peer trading and microgrid use cases face particularly significant challenges. Additionally, many use cases require more than just blockchain technology for success.

The results show that stable matching between manufacturers and GT-suppliers can be achieved, and that GT investment profit and subsidy profit outweigh non-investment and non-subsidy profit, respectively. Furthermore, an increase in carbon price leads to higher GT investment intensity, product greenness, and green demand.

The theoretical results are further verified through data calculation examples and parameter sensitivity analysis.
