Research on Contract Coordination Mechanism of Contract Farming Considering the Green Innovation Level

Yuqiang Wu et al.

Summary: This paper establishes a decision-making objective function for agricultural cooperatives and uses the Stackelberg game method to analyze the decision-making behavior of contract farming supply chain participants. The research found that the green innovation level of the cooperative increased with the increase in yield per mu, and that the optimal contract price and planting area increased with the expansion of the market size. Therefore, a Cost sharing + Alliance expense contract coordination mechanism is proposed to better achieve supply chain coordination and improve the green innovation level.

Integrating coordination mechanisms in the sustainability assessment of agri-food chains: From a structured literature review to a comprehensive framework

Carlos Moreno-Miranda et al.

Summary: This study conducted a structured literature review to analyze the assessment of agri-food supply chain sustainability, and developed a comprehensive assessment framework emphasizing the importance of coordination across chain stages. The research contributes to both sustainability assessment studies and practical application by providing directions for future research and improving sustainable strategies. This study highlights the essential relationship between coordination and sustainability, offering potential avenues for further exploration in future research.

Coordination of a supply chain with Nash bargaining fairness concerns

Zhong-Ping Li et al.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of fairness concerns on channel coordination and contract mechanisms in a dual-channel supply chain. By developing a game-theoretic utility model, the study finds that fairness preferences can affect wholesale prices, buy-back contracts, and revenue-sharing contracts. The study shows that fairness concerns of channel members can enhance supply chain performance to some extent.

Supply chain coordination in the presence of uncertain yield and demand

Lei Xie et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on a buyback contract in a two-echelon supply chain, investigating how yield uncertainty and bargaining power affect the performance of the contract. The study suggests that higher bargaining power and control over uncertain yield lead to better coordination with the buyback contract. If the seller cannot control yield uncertainty, a Buy-Back-Revenue-Sharing contract may be necessary for coordination.

Willingness-to-cede behaviour in sustainable supply chain coordination

Xiao-Xue Zheng et al.

Summary: The study investigates how to coordinate stakeholders in sustainable supply chains, considering supply chain leaders' willingness-to-cede behavior, by modifying game theory methods to promote sustainability cooperation at the supply chain level. The research findings suggest that optimal coordinated solutions can be achieved when leaders are willing to cede and when sustainability competition and concessions are low.
