Secure Control Design for Networked Control Systems With Nonlinear Dynamics Under Time-Delay-Switch Attacks

Arman Sargolzaei et al.

Summary: A continuous controller is developed for a centralized network control system (NCS) with agents having nonlinear dynamics and being subject to a time-delay-switch (TDS) attack and additive disturbances. A novel error signal is designed to address the unmeasurability of state tracking error during TDS attacks, enabling the NCS to achieve formation control objectives. A TDS attack mitigation strategy is developed using learning- and model-based approaches for detection and compensation. Stability analysis using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals proves that tracking errors converge to a residual affected by system uncertainty and TDS attack properties. A simulation study of leader-follower formation control for unmanned aerial vehicles validates the proposed method's performance.
