Provision of revision knee arthroplasty services across Scotland: A national audit

L. Farrow et al.

Summary: This study retrospectively reviewed the cases of Revision Knee Arthroplasty (rTKA) in Scotland in 2019. The results showed that most centers could increase their surgical volumes by reorganizing services or providing rTKA within a region, which would improve access to Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) involvement. Additionally, a significant number of surgeons had very low surgical volumes, contradicting current evidence-based practice.

Development of the Revision Hip Complexity Classification using a modified Delphi technique

J. W. Y. Leong et al.

Summary: The aim of this study was to develop a structured Revision Hip Complexity Classification (RHCC) through a modified Delphi process. The expert panel achieved strong consensus on 32 out of 36 factors after three rounds of questionnaires and one virtual meeting. The RHCC showed good intraobserver and interobserver reliability and will provide a framework for multidisciplinary team discussions in hip revision cases.
