Anatomic maps of erogenous sensation and pleasure in the penis: are there difference between circumcised and uncircumcised men?

Michael Zaliznyak et al.

Summary: This study investigated the differences in erogenous sensation and orgasm function between circumcised and uncircumcised men. The results showed no significant differences in pleasurable ratings across all regions between the two groups. However, circumcised men reported a preference for the tip of the penis and the middle third of the ventral penile shaft. Additionally, there were no significant differences in orgasm quality and function between circumcised and uncircumcised men. Therefore, male circumcision does not negatively impact penile erogeneity or orgasm function.

Sexual Function Outcomes After Surgical Treatment of Penile Fracture

Yassine Ouanes et al.

Summary: This study evaluated 138 patients with penile fracture and found that presentation delay and fracture site located in the proximal shaft of the penis were significantly associated with postoperative erectile dysfunction (ED) incidence. Immediate surgical repair and circumferential degloving incision for tunical leaks located in the proximal shaft of the penis are recommended to reduce the incidence of ED after surgical repair of penile fractures.
