Improving the accuracy of tree biomass estimations for three coniferous tree species in Northeast China

Longfei Xie et al.

Summary: The study developed species-specific biomass models for Korean larch, Korean pine, and Mongolian pine using linear seemingly unrelated regression (SUR), and introduced the SURM model to enhance biomass estimation accuracy. Results showed that the SURM model outperformed the SUR model in terms of fitting performance and prediction accuracy.
