Clinical characteristics of definite vestibular migraine diagnosed according to criteria jointly formulated by the Barany Society and the International Headache Society

Summary: This study investigated the clinical features of patients with definite vestibular migraine (dVM). Among the 91 patients enrolled, 62 had dVM, with a higher prevalence in women. Vestibular symptoms were often accompanied by photophobia and phonophobia. Motion sickness and severe caloric test intolerance were helpful in diagnosing dVM. Some patients with dVM had abnormal immune-related indicators.
