Sexual consent and chemsex: a quantitative study on sexualised drug use and non-consensual sex among men who have sex with men in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Susanne Druckler et al.

Summary: The study found that a substantial proportion of men who have sex with men reported non-consensual sexual experiences in the past 5 years, with notable differences in experiences between those who engaged in chemsex and those who did not. However, the level of suffering related to these experiences did not differ significantly between the two groups. It is important for sexual healthcare professionals to address issues related to chemsex and non-consensual sex in consultations and provide specialized help as needed.
