Summary: This study analyzed the risk factors and management strategies of cerebrospinal fluid leakage (CSFL) following lumbar posterior surgery in a retrospective analysis of 3179 patients. The results showed that type of disease, preoperative epidural steroid injection, number of surgical levels, and revision surgery were identified as risk factors for CSFL. Effective prevention and appropriate treatment measures are essential in dealing with CSFL in lumbar surgery.
