Martin P. Grobusch et al.

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly reduced the number of post-travel patient encounters at EuroTravNet clinics. The study examined the impact of COVID-19 on travel-related infectious diseases and found a significant decline in monthly visits and changes in the top countries of exposure. Decreases in acute gastroenteritis, rabies post-exposure prophylaxis, and dengue were observed, while schistosomiasis, strongyloidiasis, and latent tuberculosis showed increased relative frequency.
