Aubrieta amasya is a newly discovered plant species from Amasya Province in northern Turkey. It is distinguished from its closest relatives, A. anamasica and A. pinardii, by its veinless fruits and longer styles.
Aubrieta amasya is described from Amasya Province in northern Turkey, and its relationship to closest relatives A. anamasica and A. pinardii is discussed. From these, it is readily distinguished by the veinless (vs. reticulate-veined) fruits and longer styles 7-8 (vs. 2-5) mm long.
