High-quality resonances in terahertz composite slabs based on metal gratings

Summary: In this study, a THz composite slab based on metal grating and dielectric films is investigated for its resonant characteristics. Different sharp resonances are observed for varied polarization waves by combining a dielectric film. The thickness and refractive index of the film can be used to tune the resonant properties, making it a promising component for THz filter and sensor applications.
