Summary: A 27-year-old woman who underwent in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer was diagnosed with retroperitoneal ectopic pregnancy (REP) after not detecting an intrauterine gestational sac. Radiological examinations, laparoscopic exploration, and histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis. Clinicians should be alert to the occurrence of REP and early diagnosis through radiological examinations is crucial in order to administer appropriate treatment promptly.
