Design of Broadly Cross-Reactive M Protein-Based Group A Streptococcal Vaccines

Michelle P. Aranha et al.

Summary: The study identified cross-reactive M peptides based on the conserved structure of M protein, which could serve as broadly protective vaccine antigens. By predicting cross-reactive antibodies, the minimum number of N-terminal M peptides suitable for multivalent vaccines was determined.
