Preparation, structural and dielectric properties of nanocomposite Al2O3/BaTiO3 for multilayer ceramic capacitors applications

Ahmed Ali et al.

Summary: Nano-composites ceramic of (Al2O3/BaTiO3) were successfully fabricated by Sol. Gel. technique. The addition of Al2O3 changed the structure and particle size of BaTiO3, resulting in uniform distribution of nano-sized particles. The infrared, Raman, and UV/Vis spectroscopy revealed distinct peaks and splits for Al2O3/BaTiO3. Moreover, Al2O3 exhibited a significant effect on the dielectric properties of the composites.

Size-controlled synthesis of porous ZnSnO3 nanocubes for improving formaldehyde gas sensitivity

Jiaoling Zheng et al.

Summary: A formaldehyde chemosensor based on porous ZnSnO3 nanocubes was synthesized, showing high sensitivity and selectivity in detecting formaldehyde. The sensor can detect formaldehyde concentrations as low as 1 ppm, and has a good linear relationship between 1-50 ppm formaldehyde concentrations.
